New York City Campus Closed: Tuesday, March 17

Due to infrastructure work at 1855 Broadway, all buildings on the New York City campus will be closed on Tuesday, March 17. Employees should work remotely. It is anticipated that all buildings EXCEPT 1855 Broadway will reopen with full services on Wednesday, March 18. We will update information as soon as it becomes available.

Histology Core Facility

The Histology Core Facility provides NYITCOM researchers with services, including sectioning, embedding and staining of biological samples, that enable the study of biological samples at the microscopic level. The facility contributes to studies ranging from analysis of the diets of dinosaurs to the examination of the expression and function of proteins in normal and disease tissues and cells. Student access is limited to students participating in related faculty-led research projects.

In order to submit specimens to the core, please fill out the Histology Request Form. Ensure all required fields are completed. If this is your first time using the core, we strongly recommend scheduling a meeting with us to discuss the scope of your project and your specific needs. If you are interested in receiving training, please email the core director.
