Hazing Prevention & Reporting at New York Tech
As described in its Annual Security Report, New York Tech has established a hazing prevention program for its student body, with particular attention to student organizations and their leaders.
New York Tech also maintains a strict anti-hazing policy for all students and organizations. The complete definition and procedure for university sanctioning can be found in the Student Code of Conduct.
Reporting Hazing
It is the responsibility of all members of the New York Tech community to report hazing. There are different ways to report hazing:
- To Campus Security by calling 516.686.7789
- To the Dean of Students online incident report form
- To a Student Life staff member at the Student Activity Center, 3rd floor.
Transparency Report
When there is a finding of responsibility against a student group or organization for any hazing related charge under New York Tech’s conduct process, the university will publish information on this page. This will include the name of the organization, date(s) of incident, and a description of the violation without disclosing personally identifiable information.
There have been no findings of responsibility to report at New York Tech as of September 30, 2026.
