By Car

East from New York City

Take the Long Island Expressway (I-495) east to Exit 56, Route 111. From the exit ramp, turn right at the first traffic light onto Route 111—you'll be heading south. Immediately bear to the left onto Wheeler Road/County Road 17—you'll be heading south. Wheeler Road/County Road 17 turns into Carleton Avenue. Travel south on Carleton Avenue for approximately 2½ miles and is located on the right (west) side.

OR

Take the Southern Parkway east to Exit 43A, Central Islip. From the exit ramp, bear to the right onto Carleton Avenue/County Road 17—you'll be heading north. Travel north on Carleton Avenue approximately one mile and we are located on the left (west) side of the road.

West from Suffolk County

Take the Long Island Expressway (I-495) west to Exit 56, Route 111. From the exit ramp, turn left at the first traffic light onto Route 111—you'll be heading south. Immediately bear to the left onto Wheeler Road/County Road 17—you'll be heading south. Wheeler Road/County Road 17 turns into Carleton Avenue. Travel south on Carleton Avenue for approximately 2½ miles and we are located on the right (west) side of the road.

Take Sunrise Highway (Route 27) to Carleton Avenue North exit. From the exit ramp, bear right onto Carleton Avenue/County Road 17—you'll be heading north. Travel north on Carleton Avenue for approximately 1½ miles and we are located on the left (west) side of the road.

By Bus

The 3C bus travels between the Central Islip court buildings and the South Shore Mall in Bay Shore. The bus stops at the Central Islip campus at regularly scheduled intervals.
