We leverage our academic strengths to offer a range of special support and recognition programs for our students as well as special programs such as continuing education, vocational training, and pre-college summer programs for high school students.
NYIT's Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) assists students who, because of financial and academic hardships, might otherwise be unable to earn a college degree. This comprehensive program is jointly sponsored with the state of New York to provide all New Yorkers access to the state's private colleges and universities.
EduPlus targets motivated students who may not meet our general admissions standards. We provide those accepted with academic enrichment such as tutoring, skill-building classes, and personalized advisement during their first two semesters at NYIT.
Our English Language Institute (ELI) offers basic English classes for beginning learners, as well as classes for beginner, intermediate, and advanced learners of English for academic purposes.
