Return on College (ROC) Tool

Our Return on College (ROC) platform is designed to help you understand the financial costs and long-term payoff of various undergraduate degrees from New York Tech and their related career pathways.

ROC combines multiple trusted data sources—including the US Census Bureau, Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics, and Department of Education—as well as additional labor market insights and data to help our students and families better understand the return on their investment in a New York Tech degree. The ROC helps to break down complex data points such as college outcomes and costs by institution, opportunity cost and expected future wages by degree program and location, and the cost of student loans, to give you a clearer picture of anticipated costs and earning potential by degree program.

New York Tech is pleased to be the first higher education institution in the nation to provide this robust tool to its prospective and current undergraduate students and families.

We are currently offering this tool for undergraduate degrees (this tool is not yet available for graduate degrees). If you are planning on enrolling in an accelerated, combined, or dual-degree program leading to a graduate degree, please use your undergraduate degree program once you enter the ROC site:
