Health & Medical Emergencies
In an emergency, call 911 first.
Make sure to tell the dispatcher your name, location, and nature of the health or medical emergency.
Then call Campus Security at:

Do not leave the person alone unless necessary for safety.
Emergency Procedures
Examples include chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, seizure, unconsciousness, or serious injury.
- Call 911 immediately.
- Provide first aid if trained.
- Stay with the person until help arrives.
If someone is threatening self-harm or appears to be in immediate crisis:
- Call 911.
- Stay with the person if safe to do so.
- Speak calmly and do not leave them alone.
For urgent mental health concerns that are not life-threatening:
- Contact Counseling and Wellness
- Call Campus Security for assistance after hours.
- Call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).
- Call 911 immediately.
