What You’ll Learn
In this five-year Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, D.O. / Academic Medicine, M.S. combined degree, you’ll study the holistic philosophy of osteopathic medicine and hone your expertise in diagnosing biomedical and clinical disorders.
You’ll study advanced topics, such as biostatistics and epidemiology, and perfect your practical skills, including doctor-patient interactions and research methodology in medical education.
The D.O./M.S. program is part of NYITCOM’s Academic Medicine Scholars Program, in which highly successful second-year students in good academic standing are invited to apply for this competitive merit-based opportunity to spend an additional year at NYITCOM gaining supervised research and teaching experience.
