Welcome to our Long Island campus, only an hour’s ride (but a world away) from New York City! Amid the serene, tree-lined walkways and grounds, you’ll find that there’s always a lot going on, with more than 60 student clubs and organizations holding events throughout the year. In your down time, you can work out at the fitness center, take a hike on our new nature trail, or relax/study or meet friends in one of the WiFi-enabled parklets or lounges found throughout the 176-acre campus. The Long Island campus is regularly cited by rankings agencies as one of the safest campuses in the United States.
Life on Campus
Enjoy a nature walk, grab a coffee and snack at one of our on-campus cafes, get some reps in at the fitness center, or explore VR, 3-D printing, multimedia production, and other specialized technology resources at our innovation labs!
There’s a Place for You
Stay career-focused with an academic or professional organization, join a fraternity or sorority, explore intercultural and identity-based groups and activities, or join others with similar hobbies and interests. You’ll make friends with students from around the world (and around the corner)!
Your Keys to Commuting
Whether you're driving to campus or taking local transit, the best way to get to class on time is to know before you go. Check out the campus maps, parking procedures, and transportation options on campus and off.
Your Safety is Our Priority
New York Tech is recognized as one of the safest campuses in the country. And when it comes to COVID, we’re fortunate to have our own onsite medical school and an Academic Health Care Center staffed by our experienced faculty doctors.
New York Tech offers a career-ready education. We’re ranked seventh for the highest student mobility rates among four-year private, nonprofit institutions. And 37% of students who come from families with household incomes in the bottom 20% jumped to the top 20% of earners.
Get ready to reinvent the future in one of our STEM-infused degree programs, certificate programs, and minors. Your success is our success, so we make sure you have the tools you need to get the most out of your coursework, help you through any rough spot, and keep you on the path toward getting your degree.
Engage with Community
Volunteer and engage with the community on campus and around you through community-wide activities and discussions, and hands-on experiential and field-based learning. Find your voice, make a difference, become the change that needs to happen in our world.
