Annual Fund Campaign

The Annual Fund is an indispensable source of annual unrestricted income that provides support for New York Tech's core needs. From student scholarships to facility maintenance to faculty research, your generosity influences every aspect of New York Tech. Donors who contribute $1,000 or more to the Annual Fund in a single year (September 1 – August 31) become members of the New York Tech President's Club.

Employee Payroll Deduction

New York Tech employees can enroll in the Payroll Deduction Program by downloading the 2022- 2023 Payroll Deduction Form. For any additional questions regarding payroll deduction please contact Lisa Moore at lmoore@nyit.edu.

Capital Gifts

Choose to support special projects, such as the construction, renovation, or expansion of buildings, faculty support, or specific programs. Capital gifts can lead to recognition opportunities that honor or memorialize a particular person or family.

Corporate Matching Gifts

Many companies encourage employees to make charitable contributions by matching their gifts. Ask your personnel or human resources department for a matching gift form. Some companies also match spouses' gifts.

Cryptocurrency Gifts

New York Tech now accepts cryptocurrency donations! As we gear up for the Big Give, we are thrilled to announce this new avenue of giving for our community. Endowed Gifts

When you give to New York Tech's endowment, you provide a perpetual revenue source for the university. Only income generated from invested dollars can be directed toward a cause you select or that is in accordance with New York Tech's endowment spending rules. Establishing an endowed scholarship is a terrific way to support talented New York Tech students and have your name remembered for generations.

Estate Planning

With careful planning, you can protect your estate, establish a legacy, and support New York Tech's and its students. Depending on the type of gift you choose, you may be able to enjoy current and future tax benefits, provide a lifetime income for yourself, or ensure the financial well-being of your beneficiaries. Types of estate gifts include:

• Bequests: a gift made to New York Tech in a donor's will
• Life Insurance/Retirement Plans: naming New York Tech as beneficiary
• Life Income Gifts: gifts that provide ongoing payments to you or New York Tech

Donations from corporate sponsors to support special event and programs help us defray the expenses of our activities while offering you visibility in a public forum. Please consider supporting New York Tech's:

Personal Property

Non-monetary, tangible donations to New York Tech may include equipment, artwork, items for auctions such as tickets to sporting events, specialty materials for projects, and furniture. Such gifts will be accepted if deemed of scholarly interest and/or of use to the college. Please note that New York Tech cannot appraise or assign value to gifts of tangible property.
