Programs

Communities of Practice (CoP)
CoPs are informal, collaborative groups of trusted colleagues that provide a supportive space to explore ideas and share strategies on a variety of subjects, working toward individual and shared goals over the course of the academic year.

Mid-Semester Feedback
When faculty members opt for mid-semester feedback, they have an opportunity to learn about student experiences in their course, get feedback about their teaching methods and strategies, and make real-time adjustments to improve student learning.

Thank a Professor
Thank a Professor celebrates meaningful connections between students and faculty, providing students a chance to recognize faculty members who have made a positive impact on their learning and academic experience.

Faculty Development Day
This semi-annual event allows faculty to step away from the classroom and become students for the day, enhancing their skills, exploring effective practices, and discovering concrete ideas they can incorporate into their teaching, research, and creative activities.

Administrative Scholars
This program is designed to provide an individualized learning experience for interested faculty members to explore senior leadership roles in higher education by engaging with university leaders on tailored, strategic projects throughout the term of the position.

Course re/Design Institute
This multi-day, hands-on program allows faculty to explore evidence-based approaches to learner-centered course design, providing practical tools, collaborative feedback, and personalized support to help you build intentional, inclusive, and effective learning experiences.
