Big Bold Challenge branding with lightbulbs

Big Bold Challenge

Do you have an idea to help students succeed, support faculty and staff, strengthen our ties to the community, or streamline an inefficient process? We want to hear from you!

Participate in New York Tech's Big Bold Challenge. Modeled after successful initiatives at institutions like Fresno State and Atlassian, the Big Bold Challenge supports innovation and collaboration across our community.

We encourage submissions that reflect the priority areas and themes outlined in New York Tech Innovation in Action, the Ruffalo Noel Levitz Survey, and the goals of the Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging. Suggestions can be local to a campus, like creating a rooftop garden atop 1855 Broadway or a scooter-share program in Old Westbury, or online like developing a New York Tech "Craiglist."

Finalists will receive prizes, professional development opportunities, and seed money to get their pilot program up and running.
