New York Institute of Technology’s three-fold mission is to offer a career-oriented professional education; to give all qualified students access to opportunity; and to support research and scholarship that benefit the larger world. One of the ways to fulfill that mission is to hire highly qualified faculty.

Seventeen tenure-track professors as well as six teaching and one research faculty have joined New York Tech for the 2019-2020 academic year. “The most important single experience that our students have is their experience with you—the faculty,” said President Hank Foley, Ph.D.

The accomplished group will help further New York Tech’s position as a leader in architecture, business, engineering, health professions, and the sciences.

All incoming faculty were welcomed by the community at the New Faculty Orientation on August 26 through 27.
