2025 Faculty and Staff Convocation

New York Tech faculty and staff, please join us on Thursday, August 28, for Convocation 2025. Kick off your academic year with presentations by President Jerry Balentine and other university leaders, as we also celebrate this year’s Presidential Excellence Award recipients. Doors open at 10:45 a.m.

For New York City campus faculty and staff, there will be a viewing location and lunch beginning at 11 a.m. at 16 W. 61st St. in the 11th-floor auditorium.

Jonesboro and Vancouver faculty and staff will receive a link to view the Convocation live stream on the morning of August 28, via email, and they have the option of checking back on this event page.

Shuttle bus service will be available on a continuous loop between the Long Island campus to the Hicksville train station on August 28 from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for people coming from New York City.

Please feel free to bring a non-perishable food donation for New York Tech’s Grizzly Cupboard, our food and resource pantry. Alternately, please bring new and gently-used dry-cleaned clothing for Tech Threads, our professional closet resource.
