Dean Maria R. Perbellini, Assoc. AIA, and the FRIENDS of the School of Architecture and Design Executive Committee invite you to celebrate the past year’s accomplishments and the success of our alumni at the 17th Annual Alumni and FRIENDS Reception on Thursday, October 30, from 6 – 9 p.m. at Guastavino’s in New York City.
This event provides a great opportunity to network with industry professionals, celebrate success, and inspire and support New York Tech’s students. Sponsorship dollars go toward the FRIENDS mission of promoting a working relationship between the architecture, construction, and interior design professions and the School of Architecture through the funding of student scholarships, special projects, digital equipment, and conferences.

Guastavino’s provides unparalleled service of the highest caliber, with over 40 years of combined experience in handling event venue spaces in New York City. This unique architectural landmark began operation after the opening of the Queensboro Bridge on March 30, 1909. The underneath consists of majestically colored tile vaults designed by renowned Barceloní architect Rafael Guastavino. He developed the area into commercial space with the help of his son, and the venue has been recognized as a New York City landmark since November 23, 1973.
