Michael Colef focuses on digital systems design, image processing, and computer network, and information security. He is teaching courses in these areas and is interested in their applications in healthcare.
- NSF TUES grant “Enhancing The Electrical and Computer Engineering Curriculum by Integrating Applications of Wireless Technology”
- Participated in the development of the Computer, Network and Information Security laboratory at New York Tech which was supported by a DOD Office of Naval Research grant
- Conducted research, in conjunction with IBM and InfiniBand Trade Association (IBTA), in the area of network modeling, more specifically, InfiniBand fabric networks modeling
