About Sprint Football
New York Institute of Technology has been accepted into the Collegiate Sprint Football League (CSFL). Sprint football is a full-contact, competitive version of traditional American football, played under many of the same rules. The biggest difference? Players compete under a designated weight limit of 183 pounds, creating a game that emphasizes speed, agility, technique, and teamwork.
It’s an opportunity for student-athletes to compete at the collegiate level, develop their skills, and experience the camaraderie and competition of being part of a football team.
