Message from the Chair: Department of Psychology & Counseling
The Department of Psychology and Counseling offers degree programs in psychology, as well as school and mental health counseling. We strive to provide excellence in teaching and mentoring of students. Our undergraduate programs are grounded in scientific knowledge and will prepare you for a wide variety of careers in clinical, social, educational, industrial, and industrial environments. You will also graduate well prepared for post-graduate study and advanced training in the fields of psychology, counseling, social work, sociology, and law. Our programs offer many internship choices and one-on-one research opportunities with faculty, and we urge you to get involved in one of our honor societies or the Psychology Club, which offers meaningful interactions with fellow students and faculty.
