Michael Hadjiargyrou

Dear prospective students,

Welcome and thank you for your interest in New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine’s combined D.O./Ph.D. program!

Are you interested in treating patients using a holistic approach? Are you interested in treating patients using precision medicine? Are you interested in developing new treatment for patients? If your answers is “yes” for all three questions, then the DO/PhD program in New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine is just the right physician-scientist training program for you.

Members of our faculty are involved in many exciting areas of research, including cancer, neuroscience, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, diabetes, bioinformatics, genomics, biomechanics, and evolutionary biology. As such, there are many opportunities for our students to perform pioneering and life-changing research and complete the Ph.D. phase of their combined program.

I encourage you to navigate our website to find more in-depth information on requirements for admission, the curriculum, our current students, the program faculty and their research projects, and our core facilities.

Lastly, if you have any questions regarding any aspect of the program, feel free to get in touch with me.

Thank you!

Dong Zhang, Ph.D.
