- Confidential – when the unauthorized disclosure alteration or destruction of the data could cause a significant level of risk to New York Tech or its affiliates.
- Restricted – when the unauthorized disclosure alteration or destruction of the data could cause a moderate level of risk to New York Tech or its affiliates.
- Public – when the unauthorized disclosure alteration or destruction of the data could cause little-to-no risk to New York Tech or its affiliates.
Compliance and Responsibility
All New York Tech community members are responsible for ensuring data is stored and shared appropriately according to its classification. Using unapproved storage platforms (e.g., personal cloud drives) for Confidential or Restricted data is strictly prohibited.
