Programs Leading to Professional Licensure or Certification

New York Institute of Technology is committed to helping students understand state licensure and certification requirements for its in-person and online programs. Our programs are designed to meet the educational requirements for licensure or certification in the state of New York. Since specific licensure regulations vary by state and are subject to frequent revision, the university cannot guarantee licensure approval in other states.

New York Tech does make every effort to provide up-to-date information for these programs, which is provided below. However, if you are enrolled in a program at New York Tech that leads to licensure or certification, we strongly encourage you to seek information from the state(s) in which you may wish to practice to ensure that you will be able to meet their credentialing requirements. In addition to completing the educational program, licensure may require additional steps such as passing examinations, completing supervised clinical hours, or meeting other state-specific criteria.
