- In the acceptance letter to NYITCOM, you will receive link to the NYITCOM D.O. / Ph.D. Program application
- Required admissions materials
- College transcript – from AACOMAS application
- MCAT scores – from AACOMAS application
- Letters of reference – from AACOMAS application
- CV – sent by applicant
- Essay explaining interest in program – sent by applicant
- Letters of reference related to research experience (2-3) – sent by reference directly to Program Director
- Indicate interest in program at beginning of year 2
- Required admissions materials
- College transcript – from AACOMAS application
- MCAT scores – from AACOMAS application
- Letters of reference – from AACOMAS application
- Medical school transcript to date – from Academic Affairs
- CV – sent by applicant

Admissions Requirements
- Admission to medical school
- For 2nd year students – in top 50% of medical school class
Continuation to Ph.D. Portion of Program
- In top 50% of medical school class
- Pass COMLEX 1 on first try; NYITCOM must receive notice of a passing score on COMLEX 1 by July 7 of the student's second year
Requirements for Ph.D. Portion of Program
- Maintain B average in graduate school classes
- Pass doctoral qualifying examination – research proposal
- Complete doctoral thesis research and submit doctoral thesis
- Pass doctoral thesis examination
