This unique program is specifically designed to celebrate and recognize the outstanding efforts and performance of our faculty and staff within their specific job functions. (Above & Beyond Performance). Similar to the NYITCOM Positive Strides Program, faculty, staff, and students (of NYITCOM) can nominate other NYITCOM faculty and staff for instances of recognizing their exceptional positive job related performance. Nominations for consideration will be reviewed and approved by the NYITCOM Office of the Dean. When submitting a nomination for a faculty or staff member, use the nomination button below, and please provide detailed specific examples for your nomination.

Individuals that are recognized through the NYITCOM Above & Beyond Employee Recognition Program will receive a special certificate and will be invited to attend an event hosted by the NYITCOM Dean.

To encourage overall departmental ‘Above & Beyond’ work performance – as the program progresses, if a trend becomes visible showing a specific NYITCOM department significantly leading in the number of approved NYITCOM Recognized Above & Beyond faculty and staff members, the NYITCOM Dean’s Office may offer special recognition to this department, such as providing a celebratory event to acknowledge this collaborative “Above & Beyond” performance.
