With guidance from our expert faculty, students conduct research, work on projects, present at conferences, and excel in competitions to enhance their educational experience. Recent workshops include:

Middle School Summer Maker Academy

This online, weeklong academy is held within New York Tech's on-campus Maker Spaces and the HIVE, and will engage 10-13-year-old students in hands-on workshops designed to teach 3-D modeling and printing, laser cutting/engraving, Arduino programming, and virtual and augmented reality.

Women in Computer Science, Engineering and Technology (WiCET) Summer Program

Join us for a free one-week guided program exploring 3-D modeling and printing, laser cutting, FPGAs (Field Programmable Gate Arrays), and Python programming to build a dynamic vehicle with electronic sensors and self-driving capabilities. The program ends with a final scavenger hunt competition, where you and your teammates will compete against other teams to successfully complete the final mission.
