Veteran Student Hub
We, at the Student Veterans Organization (SVO) of the New York Institute of Technology, strive to provide a comprehensive platform for our veteran students, catering to their unique academic and co-curricular requirements. The SVO, a fraternity of veterans, is your home for veteran-centric services and support on campus.
Our Mission
At the New York Tech SVO, we are committed to:
- Facilitating your transition from military to campus life.
- Supporting your academic journey to ensure your success and degree completion.
- Assisting you in realizing your career ambitions.
- Guiding you to relevant New York Tech and community resources, and developing new services tailored to your needs.
Our Dedication
We are devoted to:
- Enhancing institutional support for student veterans and streamlining the processes of their recruitment, services, and accommodation.
- Providing veteran peer-to-peer support to help you achieve academic, professional, and personal success.
- Establishing community ties to augment the network of veteran services and involve you in community service.
