Maria Di Natale, AIA, (B. Arch. ’88), is an architect, educator, and mentor with more than three decades of experience in architectural practice and higher education. She earned her Bachelor of Architecture degree from New York Institute of Technology, graduating magna cum laude on scholarship and receiving the Gold Medal for Architectural Design, the AIA Long Island Chapter Commendation, and the Prix Le Corbusier for excellence in design while studying at the École des Beaux-Arts in France.

A licensed architect in New York State since 1992, Di Natale has led diverse architectural projects, founded her own practice, and held leadership positions in both private and public-sector architecture. She currently serves as an associate professor in the School of Architecture and Design, where she has taught since 1991, and is dedicated to mentoring students and emerging professionals.

A longtime member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and a supporter of women in the profession, Maria Di Natale is passionate about helping the next generation of designers find their voice and shape the future of architecture.
