Li is a Professor received her B.S. and M.S. degrees in precision instruments from Tsinghua University of Beijing, China, and a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. After completing her doctoral studies, she worked for several years at Intelligent Automaton, Inc., of Maryland, before joining New York Tech’s faculty.
