Elaine Brown is an associate professor and chair of the Department of Humanities in the College of Arts and Sciences. She received her undergraduate degree at Brown University and her Ph.D. at Duke University. Her work focuses on classical literature and early eighteenth-century poetry. Her articles have appeared in journals such as Swift Studies and the MLA Approaches to Teaching series.
