Daniel Gibbons is an interim lab manager and research technologist with a background spanning scientific computing, advanced imaging, and laboratory operations. His experience as a research technician focused on developing software tools to process, manage, and visualize complex scientific data—work that continues to inform how he supports researchers today.
In his current role, Gibbons oversees a facility housing a Micro-CT scanner, a confocal microscope, and dedicated image-processing workstations, ensuring researchers have the instrumentation, infrastructure, and technical support they need to do their best work.
Gibbons’ goal is to bridge the gap between sophisticated scientific equipment and the people who depend on it—making data more accessible, workflows more efficient, and research more impactful.
