Tools and Resources
From helpful guides from New York Tech’s library to pedagogical tips from the Center for Teaching & Learning, here are some tools and resources on how to approach artificial intelligence in the classroom.
Communities of Practice (CoP) are small groups of trusted colleagues who share a passion for something. The Teaching in AI CoP serves as an AI “sandbox,” focusing on encouraging faculty and student success, considering new AI strategies, and rethinking what we expect our students to be able to do.
The AI Resource Hub is a Canvas course designed to curate and provide access to high-quality AI materials and resources relevant to educators and staff within the New York Tech community.
This selection of videos from New York Tech’s Academic Technology Services team covers everything from basic introductions to Generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, and Large Language Models (LLMs) to prompt engineering, security and privacy issues, and how to use AI to transform your teaching and research.
To use AI successfully, users must create and refine the prompts given to language models to generate accurate and relevant responses aligned with the user’s goals. Mastering prompt engineering is essential for leveraging the full potential of AI in research, development, and practical applications.
