Kevin Johnson has served as an adjunct professor of English at New York Tech as well as LIU and Farmingdale State College. He writes poetry and his screenplay, “Among Friends,” was read at a conference at George Fox College in 2006. Johnson was a student of Jacques Derrida and J.E.C.T. White (cited by Marshall McLuhan) at Johns Hopkins University, where he received his B.A. He received an M.S. in English Education from Hofstra University. Prior to following his career path in the humanities, he worked as a programmer in the IT industry for 23 years and completed graduate work at NYU Tandon.
