Two Graduate Programs Featured in U.S. News & World Report Rankings

Old Westbury, NY – New York Institute of Technology's (NYIT) Department of Physician Assistant Studies was ranked No. 54 out of more than 600 schools in U.S. News & World Report’s 2012 edition of the best graduate schools in the country.

Chaired by Salvatore Barese, RPA-C, Ed.D., NYIT’s Department of Physician Assistant Studies places a strong emphasis on primary care, while the curriculum and clinical clerkships cover the entire spectrum of medicine. Integral to the program is giving students the chance to learn about themselves, their strengths, and abilities and strategies to overcome limitations.

NYIT's Department of Occupational Therapy was also included in the U.S. News & World Report graduate rankings released today. The report contains the nation's most trusted rankings of graduate schools that award master's degrees.
