Enrollment Services Center Grand Opening The Student Solutions Center at NYIT's New York campuses is now the Enrollment Services Center. Opening week is Tuesday, April 19 through Friday, April 22 in Old Westbury (Harry Schure Hall, first floor) and Manhattan (16 W. 61st St., first floor).
Graduate Info Sessions Current undergraduate students are invited to learn more about NYIT graduate programs at sessions in Old Westbury (Tuesday, April 19 and Tuesday, April 26) and in Manhattan (Thursday, April 21 and Thursday, April 28).
"Breakfast of Champions" Professional Development Series Join Liz Sposato, assistant director, NYIT Career Services, on Friday April 22, 9:30 a.m. at the Office of Career Services in Manhattan (26 W. 61st St., second floor) and Old Westbury (Salten Hall, room 3). The session will explore "Mindset Is Everything: How We Think Leads to What We Do or Don't Do." Event is open to all NYIT faculty and staff members. R.S.V.P. for the event.
5K Race for Relay for Life Run to fight cancer on Sunday, April 24 at President's Stadium, Old Westbury campus. Check in starting at 8 a.m. Register for the race.
Graphic Medicine Cartooning Workshop Join the College of Arts and Sciences and School of Health Professions for an event with artist Lauren Weinstein on Thursday, April 28, 12:30 p.m. in the 500 Building, room 502, Old Westbury campus. You'll create an avatar and draw your own mini-comics. The workshop is open to all NYIT students and faculty and staff members.
Relay for Life Join the NYIT community in supporting the American Cancer Society at Relay for Life on Friday, April 29 at President's Field on the Old Westbury campus.
Commencement Countdown NYIT Commencement is on Sunday, May 22. Members of the Class of 2016 should reserve their tickets through Sunday, May 1.
TIAA-CREF Appointments A TIAA-CREF representative will visit NYIT's Manhattan campus (16 W. 61st St., room 1118) on Monday, May 9 to provide personal investment and retirement counseling for NYIT employee program participants.
