About Us
Leadership
Welcome to the New York Institute of Technology Libraries!
As the inaugural dean of libraries at New York Institute of Technology, I am honored and excited to invite you to explore our libraries. The New York Tech Libraries are a student-centered, digitally connected library. Our spaces and services are designed around how students learn, collaborate, and innovate. With an extensive virtual presence, students and faculty have access to e-journals, databases, and research support—anytime, anywhere. Our buildings have been reimagined as active learning environments that foster creativity and interdisciplinary exchange.
The New York Tech Libraries include five distinct libraries:
- Salten Hall Library
- New York City Campus Library
- Art and Architecture Library
- College of Osteopathic Medicine Libraries
- NYITCOM Library-Long Island, NY
- NYITCOM Library-Jonesboro, AR
- Vancouver Digital Library
Together, these libraries support collaboration, career readiness, and applied learning. Guided by a digital-first philosophy, we’ve reduced our print footprint while vastly expanding access to e-resources, virtual instruction, research consultations, and advanced technology—from 3-D printing and virtual reality to specialized software and digital publishing platforms.
Our libraries team is excited and prepared to support students, faculty, and the campus community.
