New York Tech Student Headed to Harvard

Interdisciplinary studies major Yllka Valdez was accepted into the Harvard/MIT Equitable Access to Research Training M.D.-Ph.D. Summer Program, where she will she gain training and mentorship in scientific research.

Students Raise Money for Refugee Artists

School of Health Professions students traveled to Athens, Greece, last summer, where they worked with displaced refugees in art therapy workshops. On February 10, the students took to a local Boys and Girls Club to display the artwork and donate proceeds to the artists.

Doers and Makers Building Prototypes for NASA

As part of a new agreement, NASA has contracted with New York Tech to have ETIC student employees build unique technology prototypes based on existing NASA patents and create professional marketing materials to help commercialize the technology.
