Zack and Cody Executive Producer and NYIT Alumnus Jim Geoghan Speaks at NYIT

New York, NY – New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) will host a lecture featuring Emmy-nominated NYIT alumnus Jim Geoghan (B.F.A. '69), executive producer of The Disney Channel's The Suite Life on Deck and the original The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, on Monday, Feb. 22 at the NYIT Auditorium on Broadway.

Jim Geoghan will present an inside view of the television industry, as well as his own personal experiences as part of the inaugural lecture of NYIT';s Department of Communication Arts Distinguished Alumni Lecture Series. Geoghan will share his 20-year struggle to get Zack and Cody on the air, tips for keeping hit shows alive, and experiences writing and producing such popular series as Silver Spoons, Punky Brewster, Three's Company, The Facts of Life, Kate and Allie, Too Close For Comfort, and Family Matters, among others.

The event, hosted by NYIT's College of Arts and Sciences' Department of Communication Arts, is open to the public and will be held from 6–7:30 p.m. at the NYIT Auditorium on Broadway, located at 1871 Broadway in Manhattan.
