Old Westbury, NY – NYIT is one of the best colleges to work for in the nation, according to a new survey by The Chronicle of Higher Education.

NYIT is recognized for its teaching environment as well as compensation and benefits offered to employees. The results, released today in The Chronicle's annual report on "The Academic Workplace," are based on a survey of nearly 44,000 employees at 310 colleges and universities across the country.

For the second year in a row, faculty and staff rated NYIT highly for offering pay and benefits that meet their needs. Employees also are pleased with the way the university values innovative work and high-quality teaching.
