NYIT Engineering Honored at World Education Congress Asia Awards

Dubai, U.A.E. – Innovative programs and a dedication to preparing future industry leaders won the NYIT School of Engineering and Computing Sciences the World Congress Asia Award for Best Educational Institute in Engineering.

"It is an honor to be included in this distinguished group of universities, from Egypt to Singapore, and it's satisfying to see our efforts recognized on such a global scale," said NYIT-Abu Dhabi Campus Dean Garon Wheeler, Ph.D., who accepted the award on behalf of NYIT at the Sept. 25 World Congress Asia Awards ceremony.

According to its global chairman, Oliver Warren, the World Education Congress screened universities from more than 20 countries before deciding to honor NYIT with the award for excellence in education, leadership, and teaching. The organization takes into consideration factors such as student perception, social media, and graduate employment.
