Amwell Medical Group

Raysha J. Crawford, D.O. is originally from Webster, NY and now currently calls Long Island her home. She received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from State University of New York, in Brockport, NY where she graduated Cum Laude. Dr. Crawford then received her medical degree from New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYITCOM) and completed her residency training in Family and Community Medicine at Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital in Oceanside, NY, which she holds dual board certification through the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine. Right after residency, she was the Associate Medical Director for CareNow Urgent Care in Dallas, Texas. Returning to her home town of Webster, NY she was the Assistant Professor of Clinical Family Medicine at University of Rochester. After deciding to transition from Academic Medicine to now working a new role in Telehealth with Amwell Medical Group, she believes this new role allows her to provide access of care in some communities where access to a provider can be difficult. Along side of this, she is working to establish her own private practice, emphasizing prevention around optimal health, encouraging an individual’s inherent self healing process. When not working, known to her family and friends as an avid adventurer who loves to try new things, she enjoys meeting new people, mentoring, traveling and philanthropy.
