Dr. Golbin is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care, Sleep Medicine, Neurocritical Care, Health Care Quality and Management, and Medical Quality. He has obtained certification as a Physician Executive, as well as in Patient Safety, Patient Experience, and from the Joint Commission. He is also a certified Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt. Dr. Golbin has published a number of peer-reviewed journal articles, abstracts, and book chapters, and presents at national meetings. He completed his undergraduate degree in biology at Binghamton University, a master of science in Physiology and Biophysics at Georgetown University. He graduated from New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he currently holds the rank of clinical associate professor of medicine and teaches pulmonary medicine. Dr. Golbin completed his residency and chief residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, and his fellowship at Mayo Clinic, in Rochester, Minn., where he was the Burgher Family Fellow in Pulmonary Diseases. He completed his M.B.A. at Adelphi University, where he was elected to the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society. Dr. Golbin is a member of the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYITCOM) Dean’s Advisory Board.
