Program Awards Local High Schoolers’ Research

Patch pages for Wantagh and South Hempstead, as well as on Plainedge School District’s website, feature several Long Island high school students for their research submitted to New York Tech’s 9th Annual Mini Research Grant Award (MRGA) program. Each year, MRGA awards select high schoolers with $300 grants to support research project proposals or continuing projects in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) disciplines, intended to offset research material costs and related expenses.
