Professor Featured in Bookseller Magazine

January 28, 2026

As seen in the book industry magazine Bookseller, Associate Professor of Humanities Amanda Golden, Ph.D., a Sylvia Plath scholar, co-edited the forthcoming book The Poems of Sylvia Plath. Drawing on decades of research, the book is expected to be published in May and nearly doubles the content of the previous edition, Collected Poems. The project was supported by a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Since 2001, Golden has studied Plath’s reading, teaching, and the annotated books in her personal library, housed in the Mortimer Rare Book Room at Smith College and the Lilly Library at Indiana University.
