$1 Million IDC Grant Highlighted

The IDC Foundation has awarded New York Tech a $1 million grant to establish the IDC Institute for Design Research and Innovation, reports Philanthropy News Digest. The institute will be a part of the School of Architecture and Design, advancing architectural and design education on the university’s Long Island and New York City campuses.

The grant will enable resource allocation for machinery, equipment, furniture, computers, student opportunities, research initiatives, workshops, and technology-based activities.

This latest IDC award marks more than $4.2 million in total grants the foundation has gifted to the university.
