Throwback Thursday Photo: 1970s NYIT Track and Field Athlete

Today's photo dates to the 1970s and shows a soaring student-athlete doing the long jump. The former men's and women's track and field teams began their amazing legacy in 1974, making their way to the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division II postseason and continuing to do so for the next 25 years.
