Local Media Highlight Henry C. Foley Hall
Following a celebratory unveiling ceremony on May 13, local media outlets, including Long Island Business News and InnovateLI, highlighted the newly named Henry C. Foley Hall on the Long Island campus. Formerly the Midge Karr Fine Arts and Design Center, Henry C. Foley Hall pays homage to President Emeritus Henry C. “Hank” Foley, Ph.D., who retired from his role on June 30, 2025.
The building is home to Startup Tech Central, a new center featuring maker spaces, mentorship programs, startup training, and more. The hub is a key feature of the university’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Academy, created during Foley’s tenure, which brings together new courses and curricula, networking activities and events, and a $5 million venture fund, positioning New York Tech as a university offering comprehensive support for entrepreneurship.
