Best of Show in Educational Ad Awards
New York Institute of Technology is among the biggest winners in the 41st Annual Educational Advertising Awards, the largest educational advertising awards competition in the country.

More than 2,000 entries were submitted from a thousand colleges throughout the United States and several other countries. Seventeen institutions, including New York Tech, were recognized by the judges as Best of Show winners, distinguished for exhibiting the highest standards, creativity, and professionalism. Gold awards were granted to 481 institutions, silver awards to 320 institutions, and bronze awards to 212 institutions. New York Tech was recognized at all those levels.
“We are committed to effectively delivering on our strategic brand-building and marketing recruitment plans to grow the university’s reputation and student recruitment pipeline. The external recognition of these efforts to distinguish New York Tech in a crowded field is more important today than ever,” says Joseph Posillico, Ed.D., vice president for enrollment management and strategic communications.
Project leaders responsible for creating this award-winning work, along with their teams, include Briana Bronchick, director of marketing and promotions; SaraJane McCaslin, director of student communications; Sean Nalaboff, senior video producer; Bessie Nestoras Knoblauch, associate director of editorial; Erica Pennant, senior director of digital marketing and creative services; and Libby Sullivan, senior director of strategic communications.

In 2025, the university was recognized for its website redesign, led by teams in Strategic Communications and Information Technology Services, with a Silver Award from the Collegiate Advertising Awards program, a national program created to honor today’s most talented marketing professionals for outstanding excellence in all forms of advertising, marketing, and promotion specific to higher education; the Excellence Award from The Communicator Awards; and a Bronze Award from the Educational Advertising Awards. Additionally, various campaigns have been submitted to the 2026 Collegiate Advertising Awards program; winners will be announced in the spring.
