President Balentine Speaks on Panel

President Jerry Balentine, D.O., was among the university presidents on Long Island participating in a panel discussion at Farmingdale State College. The leaders in higher education made the case for why a college degree is still worth the investment.

Newsday’s coverage of the event features Balentine’s statement that 95 percent of New York Tech graduates were either working or in graduate school within six months of earning their undergraduate degree. “That has to be our goal,” he said, noting that students taking on college costs “invest probably more money than [at] any other time in their life.”
