Programming with Java

December 7, 2023
1:00 PM – 1:45 PM

Come to this virtual lecture on Java programming, hosted by New York Tech's ETIC business incubator.

Java has become one of the most popular programming languages over the past several decades. Java Virtual Machine (JVM) can be found in over three billion devices worldwide, allowing for the platform-agnostic design of software applications. The Java language has interfaces to popular electronic devices like Raspberry Pi and Arduino control boards and has dozens of libraries that allow users to create powerful systems that can run on nearly any operating system without being altered or customized for that system.

The iNTEREST Lecture Series is hosted by the Entrepreneurship & Technology Innovation Center (ETIC) at the College of Engineering and Computing Sciences. It is designed to introduce attendees to a variety of high-demand technologies associated with dedicated career paths. All sessions will be recorded and uploaded to the ETIC YouTube channel.
