New Student Welcome: Long Island (Old Westbury, N.Y.)

Our New Student Welcome is a required event for all new incoming students enrolled at our NYIT-Long Island (Old Westbury, N.Y.) campus, except for those enrolled in the College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Check-in begins at 11 a.m. by the Serota field behind Wisser Library (rain location is the gym). Designated parking is by the tennis courts. Lunch will be provided. Students will be directed to Riland Auditorium for welcome remarks from President Hank Foley, Provost Junius Gonzales, and Associate Dean of Students Cason Brunt. They will then break out into their academic programs where they will meet their deans and faculty.

Please note: There are no programs for parents and guests—this event is solely for new students. Contact orientationow@nyit.edu if you need assistance or accommodations.
