Eighth Annual She.E.O. Discussion: Embracing Equity

March 8, 2023
4:00 PM – 5:30 PM

Join us for New York Tech’s Eighth Annual She.E.O. Discussion, as we gather virtually to honor, cultivate, and strengthen women with whom we work, innovate, and motivate.

This year's theme is Embracing Equity. When we embrace equity, we embrace diversity and we embrace inclusion. We embrace equity to forge harmony and unity, and to help drive success for all. Equality is the goal, and equity is the means to get there. Through the process of equity, we can reach equality.

Presenter

Evette Allen Moore, Ph.D., is the assistant dean of diversity, equity, and inclusion at New York Tech. Dr. Moore's passion for student success and social justice is evident in her research agenda and community activities. Her research agenda focuses on the experiences of students of color in higher education and social justice education.
