Community Engagement Day 2023

At New York Tech, our focus on technology is enhanced by our humanity, our civic-mindedness, and our drive to make the world a better place. Each year we put that spirit into action on Community Engagement Day. Since 2018, over 1500 volunteers have participated in more than 60 community service activities and contributed over 1750 community service hours.

On Wednesday, April 19, students, staff, faculty, and alumni are encouraged to:

• Volunteer individually or as part of a group with area nonprofit groups (opportunities are remote as well as in-person).
• Educate others about work and research that addresses social issues.
• Promote community projects and fundraisers scheduled after April 19.
